CIS Pig Iron Market, weekly review

Buying activity at CIS pig iron market is sinking before winter holidays. Almost all exporters have sold December pig iron. Most of Russian mills offer January material, Tulachermet offers early February production. The mill has to reduce scheduled pig iron production by 10% and to postponed some shipments due to coke quality change to worse in November-December. The biggest Ukrainian pig iron producers offer late January material. Besides DMZ and ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih have small volumes of December production material unsold, MMI estimates. ...
